You’re Invited to Our Communities, Our Stories Travelling Exhibit

Celebrate the Municipality of Meaford’s 25th Anniversary of Amalgamation by exploring Our Communities, Our Stories, a travelling exhibit from the Meaford Museum spotlighting the shared history, heritage, and community life of the former Town of Meaford, Township of St. Vincent, and Township of Sydenham.

The traveling exhibit reflects the 2001 amalgamation that brought these communities together and highlights the villages and hamlets that continue to shape the municipality today. Through historic photographs, artifacts, and local stories, the exhibit offers opportunities for residents to reconnect with their neighbourhood history while looking ahead to a shared future.

“This travelling exhibit brings our history directly into the places where it lived,” said Jody Seeley, Meaford Museum Curator. “It’s an opportunity for residents to see their own communities reflected in the story of the Municipality of Meaford and to celebrate the connections that unite us.”
