FAQ

Prime time camping includes the last full weekend of June to the Tuesday after Labour Day, as well as Victoria Day and Thanksgiving weekends.

Waterfront site reservations open on January 1st at 9:00 a.m. for that calendar year. Requests made before this date will not be considered. During prime times, these sites require a minimum one-week stay and a maximum of two weeks, with arrival and departure on Fridays. In June and September, a four-night minimum stay is required. Any unreserved waterfront sites during prime time will be available for shorter stays, with a minimum two-night reservation. These will be assigned on Saturdays at 12:00 p.m., with priority given  to longer stays.

Off-water and upper campground sites can be reserved at any time for the following camping season. Premium and lower off-water sites require a minimum four-night stay during prime season, which runs from the last full weekend of June to Labour Day. There are no minimum stay requirements during the shoulder season.

On long weekends, all campsites require a minimum three-night reservation. During the Civic Holiday weekend, sites 40 to 143 will not be available for public use due to the Kin Camp Event. Group reservations for multiple sites, made by one representative, will be held for 14 days. Within this period, each group member must confirm their individual reservation and submit full payment.

Full payment is required at the time of booking. For pre-season reservations, payment must be made by credit card upon confirmation. In-season reservations also require full payment at the time of booking. Failure to submit payment will result in cancellation.
