You’re Invited to Hamlet Tales: Authors Among Us

The Meaford Public Library invites the community to Hamlet Tales: Authors Among Us, a series of free author readings and talks celebrating local voices and the stories that connect Meaford’s communities, as part of the Municipality of Meaford’s 25th Anniversary of Amalgamation.

The series reflects on the coming together of the former Town of Meaford, Township of St. Vincent, and Township of Sydenham in 2001, and honours the villages and hamlets that have shaped the municipality over the past 25 years, while welcoming residents to gather, listen, and look ahead to a shared future.

“Our local stories remind us where we come from and how our communities are connected,” said Councillor Harley Greenfield. “Hamlet Tales: Authors Amongst Us invites residents to gather, listen, and celebrate the voices of the Municipality of Meaford that have shaped us in the past, and in the future”.
