The Municipality of Meaford would like to inform residents that there will be an increase in heavy truck traffic due to the scheduled transfer of biosolids from the Wastewater Treatment Plant beginning on Tuesday, June 17. This activity is expected to last for approximately two to three days.
Overview
The following service will be temporarily impacted: Increased heavy truck traffic along Aiken Street, St. Vincent Street, and Highway 26.
Start date: Tuesday, June 16, 2026
Approximate end date: Friday, June 19, 2026
Reason for disruption: Scheduled biosolids transfer from the Meaford Wastewater Treatment Plant.
Alternative services may be found at: No municipal services will be impacted. However, motorists and pedestrians are advised to use caution and expect brief traffic delays in the affected areas.
