Nominations Now Open for Meaford’s 2026 Community Builder Award

The Municipality of Meaford is inviting residents to help recognize the outstanding volunteers who make our community a better place. Nominations are now open for the 2026 Community Builder Award, which celebrates individuals who have positively shaped and supported the Municipality of Meaford through their volunteer contributions.

“Our community thrives because of the countless residents who generously give their time, energy, and passion,” said Mayor Ross Kentner. “The Community Builder Award is our opportunity to celebrate those individuals who embody the spirit of Meaford and help make it such a vibrant and welcoming place to live.”

The Community Builder Award is presented each year to a local volunteer who has demonstrated dedication, leadership, and a strong commitment to improving the community. All nominations will be reviewed by the Municipality of Meaford Council during a closed session of Council.

Residents can submit a nomination for the 2026 award until Wednesday, March 25, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. The Nomination Information Sheet and Form are available at meaford.ca/communitybuilder. Print copies can also be picked up at the Municipal Office located at 21 Trowbridge Street West, Meaford.
