Meaford Celebrates Pride Month and Supports Inclusion

The Municipality of Meaford proudly recognizes Pride Month each June, a time to honour the resilience, history, and contributions of 2SLGBTQIA+ communities both locally and around the world.

As Pride Month begins, the Municipality of Meaford continues to celebrate equity, inclusion, and acceptance, values that help build safe and welcoming communities for all. The municipality remains committed to fostering a place where diversity is respected and where everyone, regardless of gender identity or sexual orientation, feels a true sense of belonging.

To mark the beginning of Pride Month, the Pride flag will be raised at Meaford Hall on June 2, 2026 and will continue to fly until June 30, 2026. From June 1 to June 8, the Meaford Water Tower will also be lit in vibrant rainbow colours, serving as a symbol of inclusion, visibility, and community pride.
