Ontario Library Service 

The Ontario Library Service was established in 2021 after the amalgamation of the Southern Ontario Library Service and Ontario Library Service-North, and is mandated to deliver programs and services on behalf of the Ontario Minister of Tourism, Culture and Gaming by:

  • Increase cooperation and coordination among Public Library boards and other information providers in order to promote the provision of library services to the public 
  • Assist Public Library boards and First Nation public libraries by providing them with services and programs that meet their needs including provincial e-resources like Libby and other consortia-based items like book club kits, consulting, training and development services.

YMCA of Owen Sound Grey Bruce

A satellite location for the YMCA of Owen Sound Grey Bruce Employment Services.

Available at the Library on the 1st and last Tuesday of the month from 10:00 am – 12:00 pm.

YMCA Employment Services can help you with career planning and development, retraining and skills upgrading, employer connections, resume writing, interview preparation, and accessing the hidden job market.

Supporting and delivering exceptional tourism, cultural and gaming experiences across the province and supports Ontario Public Libraries with the annual Public Libraries Operating Grant (PLOG) and responsible for the Annual Survey of Public Libraries (ASPL) statistics.

Rotary Club of Meaford

Meaford Rotary Club members help with the many projects, locally and internationally, for the good of the respective communities including co-sponsoring the Library’s Wi-Fi Hot Spots and the many technology items located in the Rotary Club of Meaford Room.

Life Directions Employment Supports

A satellite location for Life Directions Employment Supports. Available at the Library on Tuesdays. Walk in from 2:00 – 5:00 pm or by appointment. Life Directions specializes in providing individualized, one-on-one employment supports to jobseekers facing barriers to employment.

Community Mental Health Walk-in Supports

A satellite location for Community Mental Health Walk-in Supports. Available at the Library on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month from 1:00 – 3:00 pm. Free. Walk-in for referrals, resources and/or mental health support.

A team of Social Service Workers, Social Workers, Nurses and an Occupational Therapist who provide mental health support as well as resources and community referrals to anyone in Grey Bruce seeking support and community services.

Rapid Access Addiction Medicine (RAAM) Clinic

A satellite location for Rapid Access Addiction Medicine (RAAM) Clinic. Available at the Library on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of the month from 1:00 – 3:00 pm. RAAM Clinics provide swift access to medically assisted, integrative, and client-centered care for individuals at any stage of addiction or recovery.We address the unique needs of each client. Services available for those 16 years of age and up.

An appointment is necessary. Please call 519-376-5666 ext. 1 to schedule.
