Interlibrary Loan is a service that helps eligible patrons borrow books that are not available in the Meaford Public Library catalogue. To use this service, you must have a valid Meaford Public Library card and be a resident of the Municipality of Meaford.
How to use the interlibrary loan
- If the book is not available on our catalogue, get support by contacting the library via email or phone. Self serve via Self-Serve Interlibrary Loan platform called
Discover to Delivery or D2D. - Users can only order two items at a time, publication date of items must be older than one year from date of request, no movies allowed. All submitted orders will be approved by Library ILLO staff before moving through the ILLO system.

- 3 weeks, 1 renewal (if approved by the lending library)
- We encourage patrons to return materials by their due date so others may enjoy the item.
- Fees will be charged for damaged items and items out for more the 30 days.
- The maximum late fee charge is $5 per item. Patrons with more than $5 in charges on their account are unable to borrow items from the library and the e-Library.
- Interlibrary Loans: 25 cents/day overdue charges. $5 charge for failure to pick up items or item cancelled while in transit from the lending library.
