1,000 Books Before Kindergarten

The Library offers parents an exciting incentive program that encourages families to read 1000 books with their child before he or she enters senior kindergarten in school. It is free with your library card membership. Keep track of the titles of the books that you read with your child.  Earn prizes as you work towards you goal!  Find out about the 1000 books before Kindergarten program

Walk the Length of the Odyssey

Friday, June 19 until Friday, August 28
Please register to participate
A 10-week (not years) community movement challenge! Walk, run, bike, rollerblade… just get moving!
Keep track of your steps or km travelled and submit them weekly to asolecki@meaford.ca. The participant who travels the furthest will win a heroic-age prize.
Let’s see if we can walk 8,043 km, Odysseus’s journey home from Troy to Ithaca.
