Discovery

Many people come to the Meaford Museum to do research on a wide variety of topics.

As an example, the following is a description of the research and exploration done by Mr. Hugh Timmerman, a determined man who took on the challenge of finding the original location of the Station Hill Train Station in Meaford. The station, which was removed in 1902, was already fading from local memory in the 1950's.
