Notice of Sanitary Sewer Main Cleaning

As part of routine system upkeep, the Municipality of Meaford has contracted Great Lakes Sewer Services to perform sanitary sewer main cleaning throughout Urban Meaford to help keep the sewer system operating efficiently.

Overview:

The following services may be temporarily impacted:

  • Short-term lane closures may occur. Please avoid parking on the street or boulevard during this work.

  • Driveway access is expected to remain available.

  • Residents and property owners should expect some noise during cleaning activities.

  • It is recommended to put toilet seats down during flushing.

Start date:Monday, April 27, 2026

Approximate end date:Friday, May 15, 2026

Reason for disruption:Routine sanitary sewer main cleaning throughout Urban Meaford to help keep the sewer system operating efficiently.

Please follow signage for detour routes and drive with caution in the area.
