Municipality of Meaford Appoints Bradey Carbert as Director of Community Services

The Municipality of Meaford is pleased to announce the appointment of BradeyCarbert as Director of Community Services, effective February 23, 2026.

“The Municipality is pleased to welcome Bradey to the senior leadership team,” said Shawn Everitt, Chief Administrative Officer. “His previous experience with the Municipality, combined with his recent leadership role in Owen Sound, will support Council’s priorities and strengthen our ability to deliver high-quality programs and services to the community.”

Bradey joins the Municipality from the City of Owen Sound, where he served as Manager of Corporate Services for the past three years. He brings a strong background in municipal leadership and organizational service delivery.

Bradey also has significant experience with the Municipality of Meaford, having worked with the organization for more than 12 years in various roles, most recently serving as Manager of Assets and Technology Services. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) from Laurentian University.

The Director of Community Services plays a key role in supporting the delivery of municipal programs and services, including recreation programming, community facilities, parks and open spaces, and services that contribute to a connected and active community.

Bradey shared his interest in returning to Meaford and serving the community in this new role.

“My family and I use many of the facilities and programs that my team will deliver services through, and I look forward to working with Council, staff, residents, user groups, and others to continue this work,” said BradeyCarbert.

The Municipality of Meaford looks forward to welcoming Bradey back to the organization next month.
