Updated Emergency Management Plan

Council of the Municipality of Meaford adopted an updated Emergency Plan and Program on February 1, 2016, as required by the Emergency Management and Civil Protection Act. The Plan was developed to provide a coordinated municipal response to emergency situations that occur in the Municipality.

The Plan provides important emergency response information to key officials, agencies and departments charged with making arrangements to protect the health, safety, welfare, environment and economic health of the community in an emergency. Direction is provided by the Municipal Control Group, which includes representatives from the Municipality and other agencies such as Health Services, Social Services and the OPP.

The document is available in other accessible formats and with communication supports as soon as practicable and upon request.
