Come take part in the 5K Run or Walk\, the Kids Fun Run (ages 10 and under and FREE) or NEW this year is a 1.5K stroll. \nThis milestone year promises to be one of the most memorable yet\, as hundreds of runners\, walkers\, families with strollers and even some four-legged friends make their way through downtown Meaford and along the picturesque harbourfront. \nAll proceeds from sponsorships\, registration fees\, pledges\, and donations directly support Brightshores Meaford Hospital. SUMMARY:Foxwarren with opener Hudson Freeman
DESCRIPTION:Opener Hudson Freeman\nSun. July 57:30pm | $70 \n7:30 pm HUDSON FREEMAN (30 min)8:30 pm FOXWARREN \nVIDEO: Foxwarren – “Strange (Dan The Automator Remix)”VIDEO: Foxwarren | To Be | First Play LiveVIDEO: Foxwarren – Deadhead \nFoxwarren is Andy Shauf\, Avery Kissick\, Darryl Kissick\, Dallas Bryson\, and Colin Nealis. The Canadian quintet\, built on 20 years of friendship\, ostensibly plays folk music\, where warm tones and cantering rhythms buoy songs of characters wrestling with existential quandaries inside of twilit vocals. But after touring their lauded 2018 self-titled debut\, Foxwarren decided to do it all differently\, eventually dropping the familiar band-in-a-room routine to instead plug those songs\, and various other sounds into a sampler. The result is mesmerizing and uncanny\, an album that traces two sides of a relationship through 37 minutes of collage art that aspires to “sound best blasting out your car window” as put by singer Andy Shauf. By himself\, Shauf has already had a stellar career\, his reputation built not only by the sweetness of his melodies and sharpness of his words but also his inability to rest with past success. Foxwarren\, especially here\, is a crucial part of that ongoing process\, but 2 represents something even more significant—five friends now nearing the end of their second decade making music together\, pushing against what they’ve learned how to do in order to venture somewhere new. It is the sound of friends who trust each other\, cutting themselves loose from their past and their preconceptions to have some fun with a sampler and the very idea of songs. \nIf your playlist includes Bahamas\, Wilco\, or other genre bending indie folk artists\, Foxwarren is a band you need to experience live. Andy Shauf and Foxwarren deliver the same warmth\, depth\, and musical craftsmanship that fans of those artists have come to love – while creating a sound entirely their own. \nfoxwarrenhq.comFB / X foxwarrenbandIG / TikTok @foxwarrenhqYouTube youtube.com/@foxwarrenbandSpotify SpotifyFoxwarren \nHudson FreemanHudson Freeman is a Brooklyn-based lo-fi folk artist whose reflective songwriting blends indie folk\, bedroom pop\, and slowcore influences. Originally from Dallas and shaped by years living in Eswatini and the American Midwest\, Freeman has emerged as one of indie music’s compelling new voices. Inspired by artists like Sufjan Stevens and Bon Iver\, his music explores themes of identity\, disconnection\, and faith with warmth and emotional depth. His recent release\, is a Folk Artist\, along with the growing popularity of his song “If You Know Me\,” has brought increasing attention to his intimate\, melody-driven sound. \nProudly Presented by Meaford Hall \nPlease note that the balcony level is ONLY accessible by stairs.♿ For accessible seating\, please call the Box Office at 1-877-538-0463.

SUMMARY:Georgian Bay Forever Cleanup Day
DESCRIPTION:Shoreline Cleanups\n\n\nStopping Litter and Macroplastics from Becoming Microplastics in Georgian Bay Water \n\n\nEach year we remove approximately 1\,000 pounds of litter from the Georgian Bay shores. Imagine what Georgian Bay would look like without these efforts\, and you’ll know why this work is necessary.  \nFurther to the importance of cleaning our beach areas\, this work diverts the plastic pollution from entering the lake\, where it will inevitably break down over the course of centuries\, continuously spreading microplastic particles and degrading the health of the water.
