Electronic Waste

The Municipality of Meaford has partnered with Habitat for Humanity ReStore to offer free electronics disposal. Proceeds from the ReStore sales support Habitat for Humanity Grey Bruce building program.

Drop Off Details

87 Stewart Street, Meaford (beside the Meaford Fire Hall)

Dates: Every 2nd and 4th Saturday of the month

Hours: 9:00am to 12:00pm

You can also donate items at nearby ReStore locations.

What is accepted

All electronics are accepted, working or broken, including:

  • Computers
  • Keyboards, computer mice, and modems
  • Monitors
  • TVs
  • Stereos
  • Printers and photocopiers
  • Faxes
  • Phones
  • Speakers
  • Turntables
  • Cameras
  • Batteries
  • Radios
  • Kitchen Appliances

    As of today, municipal services will no longer be offered on Thursdays at the Sydenham Centre due to low usage rates. Mayor Clumpus will continue to host her coffee time on the third Thursday of the month from 1:30 to 3:00pm.
