One bed is strictly perennials and the other is mainly perennials with some annuals. Usual garden duties: water, weed, deadhead. You set your schedule but asked to keep a reasonable time between gardening times to maintain attractiveness and health of the beds. Food Bank hours are Mondays from 9:30 am to 11:30 am and Thursdays from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm. While we welcome and need your food and financial donations, deliveries for the food bank are NOT to be made during food bank hours. Receiving times are being arranged - most likely Monday afternoons, Wednesday evenings and Saturday mornings.(Updates to be posted.) Alternatively, food donations may be left at the SVE Public School or in the large Food Bank boxes provided at Foodland and Value Mart. Or call us for a pick up or a custom delivery time. As registered charity with Canada Customs and Revenue Agency, financial donations are issued a receipt for income tax purposes. Volunteers needed for a variety of positions.
