The Bruce Community Futures Development Corporation and the Centre for Business & Economic Development both serve the Municipality of Meaford. They are community based not for profit corporation, committed to small business and community economic development. Affiliated through Industry Canada’s - Community Futures Program, this independent corporation embraces initiatives and activities in support of economic diversification and community prosperity. They are a great resource for those needing assistance in developing a business plan, business counselling, new or existing business loans and income support for new business ventures.
The Business Enterprise Centre provides free consultations with qualified business consultants who will help you start and grow your business, provide financing options, low interest loans, assist in the development of business plans, business seminars and networking events. The enterprise centre is also a great source of information related to business permits, licences and government support, including access to youth entrepreneurship programs.
Meaford Business Improvement Area
The Meaford Business Improvement Area is an association of business and commercial property owners located in the downtown core. The primary mandate of the BIA is to enhance the esthetics of the BIA area and to promote business activity. They also organize various events and activities within the BIA to help generate traffic and increased commerce.
Meaford Chamber of Commerce
The voice of business and the catalyst through which business, professional people and community groups work together for the common good and economic prosperity of Meaford. The Meaford Chamber of Commerce also produces the annual Meaford Dragons Den event, now in its seven year. They also celebrate local businesses and organizations through their annual Community Awards.

The Owen Sound & District Chamber of Commerce advocates for, and encourage support of our members.
